A New Tarot

I've only spoken of it to a few friends before now. I'm creating a brand new Tarot deck using 3D imaging.  I'd toyed with the idea before, but the software I could afford simply wasn't up to the task. Plus I'm more photographer than digital modeler. I can't create richly detailed human figures. But I can pose them...

Everything changed where I found a website (DAZ) that sells models from various digital artists. They also provide software through which I can pose the figures, light them, and bring a scene to life. It's a bit buggy but very productive.

I've built maybe half the Major Arcana so far-plus a few images where I've tested my concepts. I'll start posting a few images along with my explanation for the symbolism I've chosen.

Elemental factors in the Tarot

Leafing through Deborah Lipp's book The Way of Four last night brought me to a section about the elemental meaning of Court cards in the Tarot. The Court cards (Page, Knight, Queen, and King of each suit) have always been tough for me to read, and books I've consulted have suggested unhelpful interpretations about people of different colored hair coming into one's life.
